How to calculate SSC CGL Tier 2 Result: The score of the exam will be all based on the number of question candidate will attempt. For each correct answer, 1 mark will be allotted and for each wrong answer 0.5 marks (1/2) will be deducted as per the marking scheme of the exam. SSC CGL Tier 2 Result 2017:
The result of tier 2 will be declared in the month of December of this year. The tier 2 exam will be conducted only for those candidates who will score overall and sectional cut off as per their category. In tier 2 there will be total 4 papers out of which paper 1 and 2 will be compulsory for all the applicants. Paper 3 will be the statistic which will be only for the candidates who applied for the post of Statistical Investigator. The paper 4 will be only for the candidates who applied for post of Assistant Audit Officer. This will be Finance & Accounts and Economics & Governance.
How to calculate SSC CGL Tier II Result:
The result of Tier 2 will be calculated as per the marking scheme. As per this scheme for Tier 2, candidates will be allotted 2 Marks for each correct answer and for each wrong answer 0.5 marks (1/2) marks will be deducted. This will be from the total of 200 score. There will be consideration of marks obtained in Tier 1 also. The marks of Tier 1 exam will be combined in the marks of tier 2 and final merit list will be prepared.
Tier II Exam Result = Marks obtained in tier 2 exam + marks obtained in tier 1 exam

SSC CGL Tier 3 and Tier 4 Result:
The tier 3 and tier 4 is an additional stage. In this stage, the writing and computer skills are checked. Tier 3 has been introduced in effect of from CGLE, 2016. In this stage, candidates must score 33 per cent marks. The exam is all based on pen and paper based. The duration of the exam is 1 hour. The SSC CGL Result of tier 3 is expected to be declared in the month of January

Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) for the post of Tax Assistants (Central Excise & Income Tax): In this candidates typing speed is checked. The at 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depression per hour on Computer. The ‘Data Entry Speed’ skill test at 2000 (two thousand) key depressions for a duration of 15 (fifteen) minutes will be of qualifying nature.
Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) for the post of Assistant Section Officer: This will be for the post of post of Assistant Section Officer of CSS. This will be comprising of three stages – Word Processing, Spreadsheet and Generation of Slides.
SSC CGL Tier 4 Cut off marks: The cut off marks and answer key sheet will be uploaded on the official website. Candidates will be able to access the information through the official website.
SSC CGL Final Result: The final result of SSC CGL will be declared in the month of April as per expectation. The overall result will be considered as per the marks obtained in Tier 1 Tier 2 and Tier 3.
